If I Were an Island- Highlights

On the first week of school we did an activity to share a little more about ourselves. Every sixth grader created a treasure map of an island that represents them.

The requirements were:

1) The island would be in the shape of your favorite place

2) The island would have the perfect place for you to do your hobbies

3) There would be a place in the heart of the island dedicated to one of your core values.

4) The island would have the perfect habitat for your pet (or an imaginary pet)

5) The island would have a monument dedicated to your favorite food

6) Your favorite book character would have a place to live on the island

7) A sea monster in the ocean would represent your biggest fear

8) A ship in the sea would represent your greatest strength

All of the sixth graders did a totally awesome job on their maps. They are so beautiful and creative!
